Last week, Turkuaz published pro-shot movie of their own performance of “Big Business” to “Murder Face” from their series in Burlington, Vermont’s Higher Ground on April 18. On the heels of their go back to Red Rocks Amphitheatre across the weekend supporting Umphrey’s McGee, the funk-infused nine-piece has introduced another pick out of their Live From Higher Ground video collection.
For the movie, the technicolored Brooklyn band has unveiled movie of the nighttime ’s take on “Electric Habitat. ” Spanning 12 minutes shows the group leaning into their side. The rendition of the song off 2014’s Future 86 includes tight vocals from the trio of Dave Brandwein, Sammi Garett along with Shira Elias in Addition to a stunning drum solo from Michelangelo Carubba.
