Neighborhood funk seven-piece, Float Like a Buffalo has been busy this past season. Between enjoying Red Rocks Amphitheatre along with Face Vocal Band at July and publishing their debut album, Back from Nowhere and almost selling out the Gothic Theatre upon its launch, the funk favorites have been putting in the work without the signs of slowing down. Set to go back to the Gothic Theatre now, August 17, the gentlemen have just a small something up their sleeves. Surprise releasing a brand new track, “Gone by Morning” in conjunction with the video launch, Float Like A Buffalo will reel at the finished dog days of summer with a Breckenridge Brewery fueled celebration.
“We had this incredible summertime, attaining things we didn’t believe would be possible for a long time,” said percussionist Garrett Achten, “but we could stay true to our roots and our passion to our own community. Here is the second audio genre we’Id filmed together with our friends and family as extras – but we were fortunate enough to bring on Breck [Breckenridge Brewery] and 1876 and have a much bigger production this time around. ”
